Quest for Key Lime and the best donuts in Memphis TN
Key lime pie and Florida go together like Apple Pie and USA but what do donuts and key lime pie have to do with each other? Let me introduce you to the Donut Man.
While heading down to the Gulf of Mexico, Panama City Beach in Florida to take up winter residency escaping the frigid North Dakota and Minnesota winters. Suzy decided to seek out the best donuts in Memphis, Tennessee. This is where she meet the Donut Man. He not only shared the most delicious donuts in all of Memphis; he shared his recipe for the simpliest, easiest most delicious key lime pie. He has the recipe in his Donut Man book which he signed for us.
Arriving in Florida, Suzy made this most easiest delicious key lime pie. Here is the recipe:
Here is a simple super easy recipe. Key lime pie as easy 1. Three egg yolks 2. Sweetened condensed milk 3. 1/3 cup key lime juice Beat all with mixture. Pour into a pie shell Freeze slice and serve frozen. Store in freezer Enjoy! #keylimepie #Keylimepierecipe #KeyLime
The Easiest Key Lime Pie Recipe Ever

3 egg yolks
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup Key lime juice fresh squeezed or Nellies Key West Lime Juice available at Winn Dixie or any grocery store down south
1 Pie shell (love the pecan pie shell)
Directions
- Beat all the (3) ingredients (except the pie crust of course) till creamy and mixed well in a bowl
- Pour into the pie shell
- Place in freezer till it is no longer a liquid; store in the freezer if you don’t eat it all in one sitting
- Slice and serve with whipped cream. YUMMY!
