Interstate 94 Sunset in North Dakota
Sunset on Interstate 94 heading west near Steele North Dakota

North Dakota is often the last of the 50 states to visit. So often in fact the Fargo Convention Visitors Bureau (CVB) have a Best for Last Club

The Sisters of the Spoon were both born and raised in North Dakota. Suzy still lives in North Dakota and Sharon lives just across the Red River in Moorhead Minnesota. Suzy travels Interstate 94 to see her sister Sharon and to visit the Twin Cities where she has two daughters’ and their family live frequently.

When traveling Suzy loves to stop, take a break and explore then get back on the road. North Dakota from east to west borders is a little over 350 miles, you can speed on through the state or stop just off the Interstate, you may want to stay a night or two. Despite what many will say when going through a plains state, it does not have to be boring. Get out stretch your legs, you might be surprised at what you see and learn. These are some of Suzy’s favorites stops along I94 in North Dakota.

From West to East these are Suzy’s top 10 stops along your road trip across North Dakota
