Caramel rolls are a Midwest favorite, at least they are in North Dakota and western Minnesota, get to the Twin Cities and you may have a hard time finding them. They may have originated as a German from Russia treat. No matter how they came into existence they are creamier than a sticky bun and you can find them at many restaurants in North Dakota besides the holiday breakfast table. Heck we don’t need a holiday to feast on them.
These are so easy to make and look fancy.
This is the first show we created to showcase our different styles of cooking. Suzy makes things one way and Sharon makes it another way. Both have different approaches which can be comical
What makes this healthier? Using an avocado for butter, heavy cream and egg yolks along with bittersweet chocolate rather than a sugar laden chocolate.. This recipe has less saturated fats and about 7 times the fiber. Fiber is important for gut bacteria health, it slows the sugar down in your digestive system. Fiber feeds the good bacteria.
Sharon had been making popovers since she was in high school. The fail came in when she tried to use a fancy tip and pastry bag. They looked like the poo emoji. The one the sisters are never afraid to try a new technique or recipe. Some you win some you lose. It just gives you something to laugh at when it fails.

Suzy and Sharon wanted a way to share recipes and some of their adventures with family and friends. Heck why not with the world. They both like to cook, craft and travel but usually have two very different ways of doing things. So they started this vlog (a blog with lots of videos). They especially like to make a dish for instance roasted chickens or pumpkin pie but use different recipes and methods to achieve the end result. It can be comical with the measuring, chopping or the mishaps that ensue, it is for the fun of it and to just have fun. We won’t say who is older but one did teach the other how cooking should be done whether or not they follow it is another thing. Suzy lives in North Dakota, Sharon lives in Minnesota (she moved from Fargo ND after living there oddles of years). They both go south to escape the frigid cold from their respective states. It has been Panama City Beach, Florida but that can change from year to year, one flying one place and the other driving another or ??? Life is always adventure with these two!
