Coming in 2025 to Panama City Beach Florida, Dolly Parton’s swashbucklin’ Pirate Voyage Dinner Show much like the show that recently opened in Pigeon Forge Tennessee or Mrytle Beach. The 60,000 Sq Ft theatre, a little over the size of a football field, will be located near Aaron Bessant Park in Panama City Beach, Florida. Seating will be for more then 1000 guests. The estimated cost for this undertaking is around $60 million dollars.
“I’m so excited about bringing this show to such a great destination,” Dolly said. “With pirates, mermaids, exciting acrobatics, pyrotechnics, and even a few songs that I wrote, it’s a show that is perfect for all ages. My Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show has been a huge success in Myrtle Beach, SC, and in Pigeon Forge, TN, and I knew that Panama City Beach was the perfect spot to open our third location.
“Everyone knows that I dream big, so we are going ‘overboard’ with the details as we prepare everything – from the show to the four-course pirates feast to the exterior of the building itself. I told my folks to get started as soon as possible, so we’re breaking ground for construction in January!”
The show features “Argh” pirates, swashbucklers, Blackbeard and Calico Jack leading their crews in stunt battles on full-sized pirate ships. All the action takes place while dining on the likes of Buccaneer Biscuits, Swashbucklin’ Sugar Cured Ham, Pirate Herb-Basted Potato and Walk the Plank Specialty Desserts.
Mermaids, tropical birds, and sea lions will also entertain guests. Be sure to add this to your list of Things to Do in Panama City Beach
