I am a travel writer, foodie . I use to travel the makers markets and craft shows selling my Suzy Starz jewelry (jewelry that has a cottonwood tree star on a charm) I make, now I just have a few wholesale accounts. In 2018 I started our vlog/blog with my sister Sharon, Sisters of the Spoon. She is a character in our shennigans while I do the writing, the editing, the production for our website, social media, and videos. In 2018 my husband and I became snowbirds to Panama City Beach Florida.
Besides making jewelry and fashion accessories, I was a professional wedding photographer, a driver for Fed Ex ground, worked in the hospitality industry 13 years, postal carrier, a lobbyist, a politician, activist, Sunday school teacher, camp director, camp cook, church youth leader, a Girl Scout leader for 8 years and a test administrator. Kind of a Jackie of trades. 😂 I am old in years that is why I could do all those things, but young at heart.
I am a big supporter of arts and music, directed a Christmas play. Oh yeah, I use to design and make costumes. Now I mostly cook, swim, travel, write and am a digital creator, I really like to make videos now. I love to travel, love to learn and love to share what I see and do, maybe it will inspire someone to live this life with a little zest. Happy trails!
