2025 St Andrews Panama City Florida Mardi Gras Parade and Festival

Mardi Gras Festivals in the area are held every year but fall on different dates the Sisters of the Spoon love to participate in the sights and sounds of this festive season celebrated in the south. The St Andrews Mardi Gras Festival is the official celebration of Panama City, Florida, the sister city to Panama City Beach, just across the bridge to the east. Over 14 Krewes (the association or organization that sponsors a float and over 30 brightly colored floats). As festive music is played along the route, tens of thousands of beads and other trinkets will be tossed to the crowd of over 50,000 people! The 3-day parade and festival in Historic St. Andrews is filled with vendors of food, fun and music.

Panama City Beach 2025
This is one of the Sisters of the Spoons favorite, an authentic Mardi Gras celebration to attend. Typically it has been held the weekend before the Mardi Gras in St Andrews Panama City It starts out with the Krewe of Dominique Youx’s great Mardi Gras at the Beach parade in the evening, lots of beads to catch, and no funny business to get the beads, wink, wink if you know what I mean. It is a family event. Then there is music at the Pier Park Celebration stage by a Zydeco band usually Chubby Carrier with the Bayou Swamp Band. If you do not know what Zydeco music, it will get you up and dancing in the street, washboard playing, accordion and more. The celebration continues on with a headliner concert and more Zydeco music on Saturday then crescendos with a beautiful fireworks display which can be seen from the beach, the piers, your gulf front balcony or pretty much anywhere you look up.
